The World of Warcraft is a huge universe with many cult reference and icons. Love or hate the game, it has a lot of fans and subscribers who contribute to the success. If you haven’t been watching TV you probably missed the new World of Warcraft Commercial starring Chuck Norris.

The day is finally here. The day fans were all waiting for since Blizzard announced the dates for Blizzcon. It doesn’t matter if you tried to purchase tickets online and couldn’t. It also doesn’t matter what order you like Warcraft, Starcraft, or Diablo. At 11 am PST, some major announcements will be made, sending excitement tingling through all of the Blizzard's Fans. Today already feels like Christmas to the entire Blizzard Fan base. The excitement, rumor and anticipation of what Mike Morhaime will/may be announcing is spreading like wildfires. I purchased the virtual ticket. I will be able to view all the panels on my PC. I have a freezer stocked with pizza and Pepsi stocked in the fridge. I declare myself ready to battle. I will take bathroom breaks and get my food between panels. I will be watching all the panels on Warcraft and Starcraft first. I will also be watching...

Blizzard Entertainment is hosting Blizzcon this weekend in Anaheim, California. Fans from all over the world will make their annual pilgrimage to the convention center for the exceptional experience of celebrating Blizzard's games.  I have previously attended all of the Blizzcon’s except for the first one.  Blizzard knows how to put on a great show for the fans and provides a great swag bag for attendees.

So here are few tips what to expect on your trip.

On the day before your trip, it’s best to pick up your badges and swag bag on Thursday night 30 minutes before it closes or early Friday morning.  You should be able to walk in without a hassle of a long line. Make sure to bring your paperwork and ID.  Make sure you receive your pet key card.  My first year, the volunteer forgot to give me mine and I had no idea. The problem was fixed by the lovely Blizzard...

Earlier this week, Blizzard introduced us to a pet guardian cub coming to the Blizzard Store near you. This pet costs the same as all the other pets, except it has one unique feature. It is limited to a one time use and it is Bind on Equip (BoE). Unlike the other pets in the store, this pet companion can be sold for gold or traded in game.

At first, I was against this idea because it might be a step closer introducing Real Money Trading (RMT) into the World of Warcraft. However, this isn't RMT, but I do have some valid concerns and issues.

This guardian cub is being placed in our inventory by the Blizzard Store instead of entering a loot code. We can determine the destiny and future of the guardian pet once purchased. You can expect to get this item one of 3 ways: buying/trading for it, Buying it at the store, or getting it as a gift.

In this article, I will...

If you have played the game World of Warcraft from the original game through the latest expansion Cataclysm or between expansion packs. You may have noticed over the years how things have changed/evolved dramatically from itemization to dungeon difficulty and more between any two releases. In each of the expansions, Blizzard has introduced new and sometimes different ways of doing things to the players. Like all game iterations, the change can be for the better or the worse. In the end change will always happen. In this article I will explain no matter how many players scream or shout that they want the changes reverted, it shouldn’t happen.

Blizzard's All-Star World of Warcraft team has access to important software that everyday players like myself do not have access to such as the vital statistics. These statistics cover everything imaginable from leveling, pvp,...

World of WarcraftIn this article, I am going to explain my strong case why Blizzard is going to implement a new dungeon system and how it works. The new and upcoming expansion could likely have a new system called the Transdungeonification or Transdungeoneering System. These are terms I creatively thought out. What is this system of Transdungeonification or Transdungeoneering you speak of? In a nut shell, this system allows you or your friends of any level to be temporarily boosted or downgraded to play a dungeon at any level.

These are the following reasons why I think this feature is coming to World of Warcraft in the coming future. The process for implementing this system has been slowly deployed under our eyes in minor feature updates. It started with the World of Warcraft Cataclysm expansion pack with the item stat conversions where intellect is for spell dps...

Tol Borad MapI don’t know about you but I consider the PvP open world combat Battle for Tol Borad nothing but an ugly mess no matter what side your on. It is useless scenario and feels nothing like Wintergrasp or the magic it had during WotLK. While the objective of Tol Borad may seem simple to accomplish which is to control all 3 bases/strongholds to win. It is utterly super difficult due to balance issues to take all 3 bases at once. The controlling side just rotates around the map taking the base that has the least offense on if your playing defense the entire time or the defensive team just stacks more players in one stronghold the entire time. The number of people playing is roughly the same amount so that favors the defense so it seems. I could be wrong on the offense vs defense numbers but when I played it today. The sides looked about even.

Wintergrasp MapWhat...

World of WarcraftIt is no secret that at this years Blizzcon 2011 that a new expansion pack will be unveiled to the public to get excited for. I made up a list of changes and additions that Blizzard should add or change. Some of my ideas are reasonable and some of my ideas are insane. I think this expansion will have to be different unlike any other because of how stale Wow Cataclysm feels for most players and the stiff competition currently in a crowded market.

Here is a List of my changes:.

The Level cap will be raised to 100.

Two new major continent areas broken up into 5-8 smaller zones.

More Character slots to make new players per server (10 to 15)

Third playable faction that acts as a liaison between Alliance and Horde that share a common enemy.

Two more...

Wow AuctioneerIt is no secret that making gold in World of Warcraft is more easier then ever to obtain through the work of completing daily quests or farming. This article will show you how certain classes and race combinations are optimal at max level to make massive amounts of gold through farming. This article assumes you can spend the time necessary to earn the gold through the auction house of your game server. The best professions are: herbalism, mining and alchemy.

World of WarcraftI found the best class to use is a druid followed by hunter and warlock. Druids are able to herb in bird form without leaving form. They also can sleep beasts if they need to get to the plant or ore node. Warlocks and Hunters are excellent because the pets do the work of distracting the mobs while you get the ore or herb. In a short time you will amass a vast amount of herbs and ore. You can sell it quickly on the auction house and make a huge return on your time spent. Alchemy is the best profession that isn’t a gathering profession. Everyone needs flasks, health and mana pots for raiding, questing and dungeon running. The AH market always buys these items fast so the turn over is quickly if the price is in range of the others. I specialized potions, however I have specialized elixirs and transmutation to make just the same amount of money. But if your constantly herbing to make potions pick potions or elixirs. When I selected transmutation specialization, I wasn’t actively making pots to sell so I could log on and do my work and switch back to another character.

Ghost ReconI know before you read this post you probably have an opinion on your favorite games or online franchises. I have played hundreds of games over the internet since I learned about internet PC gaming. Only a few games come along every couple years that gets me addicted unlike any other game. There are games you will play and love but you wont replay them after a few weeks. The games I am talking about are the games you cannot turn off. Games that I started in the morning and I was still playing when I realized that it was midnight. When I started in buying games, it was all about the multi-player experience. How many users are playing it and will I be able to find a match. Where is the match-making located? (Zone, Mplayer, Gamespy Arcade, or Heat.net)Asheron's Call
